Eligibility

& Application

Membership is open to all licensed company managers as defined by the Companies Management Act (as amended from time to time). The Executive Committee reviews every application and has the discretion to admit or reject an applicant.

Eligibility

Requirements

Membership with CICMA is governed by The Amended Articles of Association and the Amended Memorandum of Association. Here are the key membership rules and requirements:

Licensing

Members must be licensed under The Companies Management Law (as amended from time to time) or licensed to carry on trust business under the Banks and Trust Companies Law (as amended from time to time)

Application Fee

Every application must be accompanied by an entrance fee and the first annual subscription

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are due on January 1st each year. Membership will cease if the subscription is not paid within three months.

Representation

A corporation or partnership that is a member can appoint a representative to attend meetings and act on its behalf.

Resignation

Members may resign by giving at least 30 days’ written notice, provided all dues have been paid.

Conduct

The association has the right to expel any member found guilty of
“dishonourable, improper or unprofessional conduct,” following a due process and a vote at a general meeting

Personal Rights

Membership rights are personal and cannot be transferred.
